Email marketing products are critical for marketers, and Pinpointe is an industry leader in this space. The highly user-friendly interface makes creation, measurement, and optimization of email campaigns and newsletters a breeze. Pinpointe has a package to fit the needs of any business, regardless of its size or type.
Plans & Pricing
Pinpointe offers three packages: Professional, Enterprise, and Agency. The pricing plans are based on the number of active subscribers and there is a max number of email sends. Prices start at $49/month for 5000 contacts and a monthly send of 40,000, and go up to 200,000 contacts for $898/month, and you have to contact them to about the monthly send limit. Customers who prepay for 6 months of service get an additional 10% discount. Note that both the Enterprise and Agency plans allow customers to have up to 5 separate accounts.
There is also a plan based simply on the number of emails per month. Just determine the number of emails you plan to send each month and then prepay for your email credits. Prices start at $36/month for sending 5000 emails to $1,199 for up to 1 million emails. Prepaying for 6 months gets you 10% off the service.
If you send emails infrequently, then the Pay-As-You-Go plan might be your best choice. It’s a flexible plan that lets you buy any number of credits to use you decide you need them. This scheme is set up such that more you purchase each time, the lower the per-email price is. Prices start at 25k credits to send 25k contacts for $245 up to 1 million emails for 250k contacts for $2,850.
Features and Functionality
With Pinpointe, you get versatility and efficiency. There are three different methods available when it comes to starting an email campaign:
1. Use the drag and drop campaign builder, which is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive
2. Use the WYSIWYG (“what you see is what you get”) editor to build an email from the ground-up, or use one of the thousands of available email and newsletter templates
3. Use your own customized HTML code to start an email campaign
When marketers send email campaigns to “bad” or “undeliverable” email addresses repeatedly, they run the risk of getting blocked by ISPs. Pinpointe provides users with the ability to process bounced emails. What happens is that as soon as an email gets bounced, Pinpointe recognizes it, marks it as a “bad” email, and removes it from your campaign list.
Global and local block lists
Pinpointe makes the management of global and local block lists a painless task. Your lists are constantly updated through feedback loops so subscribers who report your emails as ‘junk’ are instantly removed from your list.
Whether it’s a lead capture form that you want to add or a “forward to a friend” form, Pinpointe makes it very simple and efficient for you to seamlessly integrate your email marketing with your website. This allows it to easily connect with prospects or customers who are interested in your site.
Real-time heat maps and website analytics
Pinpointe has integrated real-time site tracking and analytics in the software suite to take email marketing to the next level. This allows you to get an aerial view of the activities that your customers and prospective customers are making. You can easily integrate with Google Analytics, receive campaign reports, understand bounce and SPAM activity, see click-through details, and more.
One of the biggest competitive advantages that Pinpointe has is its vast library of mobile-friendly, rigorously tested email templates. Using these templates, building email campaigns, and sending newsletters is only a few quick clicks away.
Today, a large majority of emails are opened on mobile devices, and Pinpointe’s mobile-responsive templates make it easy to reach your customers on their devices. There are over a thousand templates for users to choose from. Template designs available for your promotional campaigns and email newsletters are highly customizable with a modern and aesthetically pleasing design.
Ease of Use
Creating an email campaign is a piece of cake using Pinpointe. With their simple tools, you can customize font colors, sizes, layouts, title sizes, and more. Adding social links, buttons, or embedding videos to your newsletters or campaigns is also pretty easy. There is a learning curve with the form creation (e.g. the sign-up) form, but it should take less than a day for the average to become familiarized with it.
